Just north of the Christkindlesmarkt, the city's office for international relations sets up a small village of huts by the Gänsemännchenbrunnen on the Rathausplatz. Each hut belongs to one of Nuremberg's partner cities or a friendly town. In 2025 there were 23 huts for 24 places, from Glasgow and Kraków to Antalya, Saitama and San Carlos in Nicaragua.
It is the place to drink your way round the map. Last season's huts poured Greek mountain tea and Turkish salep next to Scottish hot toddy and Japanese sake. Food ran from Thuringian Stollen to nuts from Aného in Togo. The goods change with the guests, so read the 2026 list on the market's page before you go looking for one city's stall.
The 2026 run is confirmed from 27 November to 23 December. In 2025 the stalls kept the main market's 10:00 to 21:00 hours and shut for the season on 23 December.
Worth knowing
- Come here on 23 December at the latest; the twin-town huts are gone on Christmas Eve.
