The crystal tree stands at the centre of the stalls, and at weekends it plays a light show every hour after dark. The Old Town's Golden Roof sits a short walk away at the top of Herzog-Friedrich-Straße.
The stalls lean toward alternative crafts and hearty Tyrolean snacks. Friday evenings after 1st Advent bring the Götzner Anklöpfler, a group of singers who dress as shepherds and carry on an old Lower Inn Valley custom of knocking at doors with Advent songs.
