Makers on the Färberplatz sell one-offs and small runs in clay, fabric, metal, glass and wood. Some of them work in open workshops on the square, and there are hands-on sessions for children and adults. The market runs to the Green Events Steiermark rules and belongs to the Handg'macht series of handmade markets.

Food and drink huts stay open later, to 21:00 early in the week and 22:00 Thursday to Saturday. Live music plays on some evenings, and a polar bear sculpture called the FärBÄR stands on the square for photos.
