The market wraps around the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche on the Breitscheidplatz, where the Kurfürstendamm begins. You walk between the stalls with the broken tower of the old church on one side and Egon Eiermann's new church on the other. AG City runs a charity mulled wine stand here with the Schaustellerverband Berlin, the showmen's association.
It is one of the few Berlin markets that keeps going after Christmas, so put it on the list for a trip over New Year. The S-Bahn and the U2 and U9 stop at Zoologischer Garten, and the U1 stops at Kurfürstendamm.
