Jens Schmidt GmbH sets the stalls out on the forecourt of Schloss Charlottenburg, and once the palace lights come on its front becomes the screen for a light-mapping show. Over 200 fir trees stand between the huts. The craft side runs to textiles and wooden toys, and you will find ceramics, jewellery and incense smokers there too. Children get carousels, and the food stalls mix sweet and savoury with regional dishes.
Every day closes at 22:00, which gives an evening visit plenty of room after the show. The market sells its own branded glasses as souvenirs.
