LOUIS Hotel

The LOUIS has 72 rooms above the Viktualienmarkt, Munich's daily food market, and the furniture and lamps were made for the house, down to wardrobes shaped like travel trunks. A Courtyard Superior double starts at €269 and a Courtyard Deluxe at €309. The Market View Deluxe rooms measure 42 square metres and have at least one French balcony over the stalls. Reception is staffed around the clock.

From 20 November the rooftop terrace turns into the Winterzauber, with hot drinks and small plates and a view over Munich's church towers. Through Advent the Grillroom serves a seasonal brunch. On Christmas Eve dinner starts with an aperitif on the decorated rooftop, then moves to the private dining room or the restaurant over the market. The Marienplatz Christkindlmarkt is a walk round the corner past the Altes Rathaus.
