Highlights
- Suites are themed on Neumann, Röntgen and Mozart
- There's a glass of Franconian wine on arrival
The house dates from 1908 and has been in the same hands since 2011. Each of its 34 rooms is done differently, mixing heirloom pieces with modern furniture, and several suites take their theme from Würzburg names such as Balthasar Neumann, Röntgen and Mozart, or from Franconian wine. Guests get a glass of Franconian wine on arrival.
Breakfast is a buffet from 06:30 to 10:30 on weekdays and from 07:00 to 11:00 at weekends. Children under six eat free and those from six to 12 pay €9. The hotel stands in the pedestrian zone off Kaiserstraße, the street that leads from the station to the centre, and guests may drive up to the door to unload.
Worth knowing
- Reserve parking ahead; hotel guests pay €15 a night in the Haugerkirchplatz garage, which has a 1.90-metre height limit.
