Babelfish suits backpackers and families arriving by train, since its door faces the station across the ring road. From November to March the desk closes between 14:00 and 18:00 from Sunday to Thursday, so time your arrival around it.

Leave the station by the main exit, pass the Kiliansbrunnen fountain, cross the Haugerring and the entrance is to the left of the Hotel Regina. Rooms run from singles and doubles to ten-bed dorms. The family rooms have a double and a bunk bed with their own bathroom, and children up to 16 eat breakfast free there. There's a full guest kitchen, lockers in the dorms, free luggage storage, laundry, a bar and a roof terrace.
Key cards let you in at any hour, and there's no membership, curfew or age limit. The breakfast buffet runs from 08:00 to 11:00. From 1 November to 31 March, reception opens from 08:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 22:00 from Sunday to Thursday, and 08:00 to 22:00 on Friday and Saturday.
