The chapel sits above the Imperial Treasury in the Schweizerhof of the Hofburg. Seats spread over the nave and three gallery levels. Category 1 and 2 seats face the high altar or the orchestra, and category 4 seats have no view or only a screen.
In Advent 2026 the Vienna Boys Choir sings Mass here on 13 and 20 December, then on Christmas Day and again on 27 December.
