The Heiliggeistkirche suits market visitors who want music with their Glühwein, because the Christmas market's music stage stands beside it on the Marktplatz. Its services remain parish worship, and visitors join them as guests.

The church fills one side of Heidelberg's Marktplatz, and during the Christmas market the stalls ring the Hercules fountain in front of it. Heidelberg Marketing puts the market's own music stage at the Heiliggeistkirche, which makes this corner of the square the place to stand for the concerts.
Inside, Sunday service is at 11:00. The Saturday Stunde der Kirchenmusik ran on several autumn dates in 2026, and the Advent and Christmas programme appears on the parish site closer to the season.
