Copenhagen Cathedral on Nørregade is the national cathedral of Denmark, and it suits anyone who wants a quiet half hour of organ music between the markets around Strøget. The catch for a December trip is timing, because the cathedral hadn't published its 2026 Advent and Christmas services on 10 October.

Danes call the cathedral Vor Frue Kirke, and it stands just north of the Nytorv Christmas market. Through October 2026 its calendar listed a 30-minute organ matinée at 12:00 on Saturdays, and the Copenhagen Boys Choir sang the All Saints vesper there on 31 October. Sunday High Mass was at 10:00 with a second service at 17:00 in the same listing. Check the concerts page in November for the Advent programme.
